CAREER GUIDENCE CELL
Introduction:-
Career guidance cell of Govt. Lahiri P.G. College chirimiri working with a motto to setup an educational counseling services offered for the graduate & post graduate students of this institute with the aim to help the students redefine their passion in their career, develop essential employability skills & strategies & to understand different competitive examination related to job opportunities in current market scenario.
Career guidance cell has organized a skill based training programme under the expert professionals and resource persons invited from the state as well as national level.
A dedicated career guidance cell is established to guide the students to prospective careers in various quality platforms.
Objectives:-
- Employment opportunities & career paths are affected by changes in the economy & political shifts within society.
- The students better options to go for further student in national and international institutes. A specialization will always earn the students more salary as well as priority during interviews & of course, sound grip over subject than getting some job.
- To adopt suitable strategies for supporting a common student can logon anywhere with their efficiency.
- To develop awareness information & importance of high studies in time to the student to make the rural student to achieve success in their life.
Function:-
- To conduct a survey among students on their career option.
- To organize programmes to create awareness about the importance of good job in all over the worldwide.
- To provide available updated information about jobs positions/ opportunities in different platforms.
- Conduct e-lectures on career growth in the various disciplinary area subject wise through webinar by google meet platform.
Activities:-
Career guidance cell of Govt. Lahiri P.G. College chirimiri takes responsibilities to the career oriented student.
- Conducted e-workshop on “The strategies preparation of CSIR NET/JRF” in the subject of chemical science & various subject with association of the expertise.
- Arrangement of workshop on “The job opportunities in the e-commerce field”
- Conducted the lecture on the job opportunities in aviation field from the aptech aviation & hospitality academy, Jabalpur(M.P.)
- This cell arranges the lecture on the various possibilities of job opportunities in paramedical field.
- Workshop on global career option in various section by jani shakya in cooperation with “आदर्श महिला ”
- Delivered lecture on “skill development in our student”
